To promote the health and wellness of Band Members by facilitating their access to recreational/sporting opportunities through the fair and equitable distribution of available financial support from the Ginoogaming Timber Claim.  The focus of the Recreation Sponsorship Policy is to provide assistance to as wide a range of recreational/sporting abilities of Band Members as possible. (ie: from beginner to elite level).

 

Since 2004, the Trust has disbursed $24,545 to 65 members under the Sport & Recreation Sponsorship policy.  This is a fairly new program and it will continue to grow in the years to come.
